✅ Play to the "Rubric"! Before you start writing, always read the scholarship's terms and conditions or judging criteria. Use Ctrl+F to search for keywords like "criteria," "judging," "selection," "evaluation," or "rubric." This tells you exactly what the judges are looking for. If they value "community impact" and "leadership" the most, make sure those are the central themes of your essay or video. Don't just tell a story—strategically craft it to score high on what they're actually grading.
